ARC is a not-for-profit organization collaborating with local animal welfare organizations to end the killing of adoptable dogs and cats in Sarasota and Manatee Counties through an effective and innovative low-cost spay/neuter program.  The ARC Mobile Clinic travels to nine locations four days a week and has sterilized more than 23,000 animals since 2002.  ARC also alters feral cats on the Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic via Buddy’s Feral Cat Program. This program is a free service to the public, usually hosted on the third Sunday of each month.

The ARC Mobile Clinic is a state-of-the art surgical facility, staffed by a Florida licensed veterinarian and two veterinary technicians. It operates throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties on a regular schedule. Every year thousands of adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in Sarasota and Manatee counties. ARC seeks to end the killing of adoptable dogs and cats through an aggressive spay/neuter program by providing free and low-cost services to income-eligible families in high-need areas. Our program attacks the problem at its cause and is not just a "band-aid" fix.
