| ARC rescues cats and dogs from euthanasia by providing proactive spay and neuter services. No animal should be killed to make room for another. | ||
ARC works with Sarasota County Animal Services to rehabilitate injured stray animals and find them homes. This program began in 2003 and was a direct response to a plea for help for the many injured dogs and cats that are abandoned or lost but are still adoptable. Previously, there were no resources for the county animal services to handle these cases and the animals would be euthanized. To support the Emergency Medical Fund, please mail your donation to the ARC office or call 941-957-1955.

and cats in Sarasota and Manatee counties by means of a proactive spay/neuter program, comprehensive adoption effort,
