We Need Volunteers. You Can Help!

Interested in Volunteering Your Time Toward a Great Cause?

ARC is always looking for dependable and animal-loving volunteers to help with our programs, as well as in our downtown Sarasota office. Whether it's providing a "hands-on" team effort, becoming a foster parent, volunteering at events (ie. adopt-a-thons, fundraisers, etc.) or assisting with clerical and reception duties, we'd love to hear from you!

Please contact us at (941) 957-1955 to learn more about ARC.

The Sarasota County Animal Services Shelter is completely FULL with orphaned dogs & cats.  ARC is asking that you get the word out to your family, friends, and co-workers to encourage them to open their hearts and home to a homeless animal and save a life!

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Animal Services Shelter is located at 8451 Bee Ridge Road, at Rothenbach Park, Sarasota, & the hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily (shorter hours on week-ends), the general phone # is 941-861-9500 & the adoption desk is 941-861-9523.  Some of the available pets are featured on the website www.sarasotasheriff.org and click on Animal Services.

They have no one except those of us who care enough to save them.  It's the right thing to do!
