What You Need To Know To Book A Spay or Neuter Appointment With ARC

Please read this entire disclaimer before continuing to make the appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of appointment or decline of surgery.

If you are scheduling for a special promotion/grant such as any grant sponsored by PetSmart Charities, you must call to schedule appointment. Such pricing will not be honored if appointment is made online. 

If you feel you may qualify as low-income and may receive assistance, you MUST call to make the appointment.

All appointments will be confirmed by a staff member of Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC) either via email or phone with 24 business hours. While we try our best to have your pet(s) scheduled for the day you picked, there is a possibility we may not be able to accommodate your pet’s appointment for the day you requested.

If you are unaware if both testicles are visible on your male pet, it is required that you call to make your appointment. You cannot schedule these appointments via online.

Any medical issue that your pet suffer must be cleared before scheduling an appointment. Please call to make an appointment. Failing to notifying us of any medical issues will result in an automatic decline of surgery the morning of the appointment.

If your pet has a repairable umbilical hernia, please call to make an appointment. There is an automatic $15 charge to repair the umbilical hernia in addition to cost of surgery.

All appointments are at 8am with a 45 minute check-in process. Pick-up is at 4pm and is subject to change. 

Our clinic is located at 6320 Tower Lane, Sarasota FL 34240.It is located less than a mile east of I-75 off Fruitville Road. Take a right on Coburn Road, which is where the Fruitville Library is located; take a right onto Tower Lane. Tower Lane is the second right-hand turn after the park.

Please be aware that adult animals must have food withdrawn the night before surgery by midnight. If your pet is four months or younger,they may have food until 3 hours prior to drop off. You do not need to pull water for any animals, they may continue to drink.

If your pet is receiving rabies vaccination, you may skip this step. However, if they are current with their rabies you must provide proof of rabies vaccination from either the clinic or vet that administered the shot. County tags will NOT be accepted as proof.

Please leave your pet(s) in your vehicle, during the check-in process. You will prompted to bring in your pet(s) by the staff.

Please note that we only accept cash & credit cards as payment. No checks or money orders, etc.

We must be notified of cancellations at least 24 hours prior to surgery, any less is considered a no-show. Should you not show to two appointments with less than 24-hours' notice you will no longer be eligible to use our services.

If attempting to book an appointment for a special promotion or savings, these appointments MUST be made via phone at 941-957-1955 x 1. Any appointment booked online requesting specials, such as those hosted by PetSmart Charities, will NOT be honored.
